LaunchPort with Buttons Configuration with Control 4 Systems LaunchPort Sleeve Buttons can be configured to be used with Control 4 systems. Communication with Control 4 system occurs between the Control 4 processor and a Lutron RadioRA 2 Main Repeater, Caséta Smart Bridge Pro or HomeWorks QS Processor. In Control 4 Composer create a new Area

Goto “My Drivers” under “System Design” and add in all controllable components required for programming to the Area

Adding the Lutron / LaunchPort components to the Area: a. Go to search bar on right hand side and search for Lutron NOTE: Ensure you have “Online” checked when searching

Select the Lutron Processor (Ex: Radio RA2 main repeater) Select a RadioRA keypad (this will represent the LaunchPort Sleeve Buttons

Adding the Lutron credentials: a. While still in system design, go to the RadioRA 2 Main Repeater device b. Type in network username / password: lutron / integration NOTE: Ensure to keep live polling enabled

Adding the Lutron Integration ID to the Keypad: a. Go to the RadioRA Keypad and type in device address (137 for example) NOTE: The device address is a 3 digit number from 001-999 provided by the Lutron Processor upon the time of set up of Sleeve Buttons to Lutron system. Lutron calls this the Integration ID.

Adding the IP address of the Lutron Processor: a. Go to “Connections” in Composer b. Select network tab at top left c. Highlight the RadioRA 2 Processor d. Type in IP address of the processor once you double click on it Programming the Buttons: a. Go to “Programming” in Composer b. Select the RadioRA keypad c. Select the button that you want to program and choose the type of function (EX: Press, Release) NOTE: Ensure the button number you choose matches with Lutron’s number conventions (See LaunchPort Lutron Integration Guide for more information).

Select the action that you’d like the button press to actuate, by choosing it on right side bar. (in the script column)
NOTE: Because Control 4 programming updates in real-time to the Control 4 processor, set up is now complete!
