As we make our way to spring, completion of bathrooms, installation of a well and generator, and hopefully permanent electric lines at the Park are the primary goals. We also need to have the horse rings ready this year. The Campaign Committee under the leadership of Bunnie Reichle with guidance from our Campaign Coordinator Kathi Webber is making progress. I’d like to report Lucy and I have completed her Performance Evaluation. Thank you to staff and board members who provided feedback to this process. There were no surprises. All agreed the ongoing commitment to the Park has taken much of Lucy’s time over the past two years. Interruptions in staffing also consumed much of her time along with implementation of the ESNY Grant. As I stated in November, we must remember before there was a Park, CCEOC has delivered services to thousands with research-based programs and services. Going forward, Lucy would like to focus more time on program areas and our strategic planning process. We will meet in the weeks ahead to establish Lucy’s goals and timeline for success. Of course one person cannot do it all. We all need to support this organization in as many ways as we possibly are able. Most of the committees have not yet met.
