Cutting Directions for 1 Block : (make 2 for quilt) From the Black Fabric cut:
- (12) Shape #5 From the Pink Fabric cut:
- (4) Shape #5 From each of the Green & Orange Fabrics cut: - (4) Shape #4
Piecing Instructions
Layout (1) Black Shape #5 and (1) Pink Shape #5 as shown. Sewing Triangles together pressing towards the Black. Block should measure 3-1/2” x 3-1/2” 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” 2” x 2” Repeat to make total of (4) Pink Half Square Triangles (HST) Layout (1) Pink HST, and (2) Black Shape #5 as shown.
Sew (1) Black Shape #5 to the Right side of the Pink HST, pressing towards the Black.
Sew (1) Black Shape #5 to the Bottom of the Pink HST, pressing towards the Black top make (1) Unit #1.

Layout (1) Green Shape #4, and (1) Orange Shape #4 as shown. Sew (1) Green Shape #4 and (1) Orange Shape #4 together as shown, pressing towards the Orange to make (1) Unit #2. Layout (1) Unit #1 and (1) Unit #2. Sew units together pressing towards unit 2 to make (1) Unit #3. Block should measure: 6-1/2” x 6-1/2” 5” x 5” 4-1/2” x 4-1/2” 3-1/2” x 3-1/2”
Repeat all previous steps to make a total of (4) Unit #3.
Layout (4) Unit #3 as shown.
Sew units into rows pressing seams in opposite directions.
Sew rows together pressing seam in the direction of the arrow. Block should measure: 12-1/2” x 12-1/2” 9-1/2” x 9-1/2” 8-1/2” x 8-1/2” 6-1/2” x 6-1/2”
