POW Nominations for 2nd-3rd

Courage U13/U14 USSDA- Sebastian Falsone Controlled the match through tremendous ball winning and precise passing. Courage Boys 05 Red- Alex Radaules Courage Boys 05 White- Johnny Prisco Courage Boys 00 Red- Jacob Menke Played CB in our region 1 match on Sunday. He did a really good job cutting out passes and winning balls in the air. Jacob did really well with our back 3rd possession. He has been constantly working hard in training and continues to have a positive mentality. Courage Boys 99 Red- Javier Morales.

Played all 240 minutes and scored a goal while playing CB in 3 region 1 games this weekend. Courage Boys 01 White- Donovan Richardson solid at the back defensively, brought a calming influence to the game when the ball was at his feet, and retained possession very well throughout. Played some dangerous diagonals balls, great overlapping and providing dangerous service, and seemed to be 2 steps ahead every time he had to distribute the ball. Won important 1v1 battles defensively and made every 50-50 ball his. Courage Boys 99 White- David Kennedy Relentless work ethic on the wings. Was great tracking back defensively, playing high pressure after turnovers, and creating opportunities for himself and his team. Was an asset on the field on both sides of the ball. Courage Girls 04 White- Masy Peterson My player of the week for this week is Masy. Masy did exactly what I asked of her. She played the 5, 6, and 10 and controlled the middle of the field. Winning almost every 50/50 ball and then getting the ball off of her foot, playing multiple balls into dangerous positions. I told her inside 25 yards to

look for the shot and she had 3-4 shots in the second half and finally got one to beat the keeper.

Courage Girls 97 White- Naniiyah Brown Watching Nanii play these days it’s easy to forget she's still one of our younger 98 players. Every match, showing more confidence, leadership, skill and understanding of the game. In our 0-0 draw with CSA Sunday morning, she kept the defense organized and Calvert's offense completely locked down. Provided fantastic distribution and counter attack opportunities from the center back. Pushed forward at key times to join the attack. A strong player who is only going to get better over the next year. Courage Girls 03 White - Elena Delach First WAGS game for the 03s started slowly against VSA. Goalkeeper, Elena Delach, had several phenomenal saves in the first half while the team was under pressure. She showed a great amount of poise and skill for her age to keep the team from getting behind early. 03s woke up in the second half and took care of business, and Elena finished with her first clean sheet of the season 3-0. Awesome to see her commitment to the goalkeeper training program really paying off for her.
