YEAR 9 PARENTS’ EVENING IS ON THURSDAY 1st DECEMBER 4PM-8PM IN THE SPORTS HALL Dear Parents/Carers Do you know all GCSE subjects (apart from Technology subjects) are brand new GCSEs? These GCSEs are very different to the current ones so please come to be informed of the best subjects for your child to choose ahead of January’s option process. Do you know which would be their best National Expectation EBAC subject? The Year 9 Parents Evening is a very important opportunity to discuss with subject teachers your child’s progress and get advice ahead of the Options Evening in January. Please join us for this evening. We have introduced a new online appointment booking system. We are confident this will be an improvement to the previous system and welcome any feedback. Please visit https://courtfields.parentseveningsystem.co.uk to book your appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is included with this letter.) To login please ensure that: You use your child’s legal forename that matches our records (no abbreviations) The date of birth is entered in exactly the right format e.g. using four digits for the year of birth - 26/11/2005 To avoid over running on the night it is important that staff and parents adhere to the five minute slots. If parents require a longer discussion then it is appropriate that a separate appointment is arranged. If you are unable to book at home, please let us know and we will be able to make appointments for you. At a critical point in your child’s education we would value your support by attending this important evening. All students who attend with a parent or carer will receive Epraise points.
