SITTERS/CRAWLERS COMMUNITY LEADERS JOB DESCRIPTION The Sitters/Crawlers Community Leader will serve on Sunday mornings to lead the sitters/crawlers team in caring for babies 6 months (able to sit independently) until they are walking comfortably. They are the primary lead in directing the care of the babies, communicating with parents and FM leaders, and actively training new volunteers. JOB RESPONSIBILITES •

Direct and lead the team in setting up the room, cleaning mats and toys, giving snacks, and rearranging furniture back to SDA format o Consider best ways to use space and ensure area is properly set up o Monitor cleanliness and safety of space o Incorporate and care for toys, books, swings, etc. (batteries, etc.) Primarily communicate with parents/primary caregivers during Sunday Gathering (i.e. diaper changes, inconsolable crying, etc.) Oversee the check in and out process, making sure all infants have appropriate tags and logged in attendance sheet and that parents have the right tag when checking out Communicate needs/concerns such as ratio adjustments with Coordinator, FM Administrator, FM Director Foster spirit of commitment, ownership of the team Train new volunteers on the team with the processes, schedule, and rhythms of Sitters/Crawlers room

JOB REQUIREMENTS • • • • • • •

Pass background check Must be a member at the Well Community Church Must be comfortable engaging with parents and families Must be able to lift and hold infants, up to 30 lbs Must not be immunocompromised Have basic understanding of computers and Check In/Out software Arrive at 8:15 am to attend huddle (held promptly at 8:30), pray, and prepare for morning
