Going Crazy 1 Hoopsisters™.com 2009 21 steps in design. Hoop Batilizer, or Batting and Stabilizer, batting on the top Thread the machine with a neutral embroidery thread. 1. Stitch the block outline 2. Sew or skip the numbers for fabric placement. 3. Place fabric 1 over the number 1 right side up. Stitch the tack down. Trim leaving a 1/2 inch on the outside edge, a scant 1/4 inch on the inside edges. 4. Place fabric 2 right side to fabric 1, stitch the seam. 5. Flip fabric 2 right side up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim. 6. Change to a decorative embroidery thread to stitch the fill stitch over fabric 2 7. Place fabric 3 right side to fabrics 1 and 2, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 8. Flip fabric 3 right side up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim. 9. Place fabric 4 right side to fabrics 2 and 3, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 10. Flip fabric 4 right sides up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim. 11. Place fabric 5 right side to fabrics 1 and 2, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 12. Flip fabric 5 right side up, smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim. 13. Place fabric 6 right side to fabrics 4 and 5, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 14. Flip fabric 6 right side up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim 15. Place fabric 7 right side to fabrics 5 and 6, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 16. Flip fabric 7 right side up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. Trim. 17. Change to a decorative embroidery thread to stitch the fill stitch over fabric 7. 18. Place fabric 8 right side to fabric 7, raw edges even. Stitch the seam. 19. Flip fabric 8 right side up and smooth out. Stitch the tack down. 20. Apply the block back to the back of the hoop. Stitch the back on. Check to be sure there are no “dunlops” 21. Change to a decorative thread in the needle and the bobbin. Stitch the quilting stitches.

Change to a decorative embroidery thread to stitch the fill stitch over fabric 8. 21. Apply the block back to the back of the hoop. Stitch the back on. Check to be sure there are no “dunlops” 22.
