CREATING & UPLOADING A PRODUCT Introduction This guide will lead you step by step to create a single product using a single batch upload in Seller Center. Before you begin, make sure you have the following product information ready: 1. Name 2. Brand 3. Colour 4. Primary Category 5. Additional Categories 6. Colour Family 7. Material Composition 8. GETTING STARTED After logging on to Seller Center, click Products -> Add a Product

PART 1: MAIN i.

Main Category

The first thing you need to do is choose the correct category for your product. You should select up to a 4th-level category before clicking on Select. For example, Clothing > Women’s Clothing > Dresses > Casual Dresses Check out Production Tips

Name

After selecting the product category, fill in the product name. In order to optimize your product name, indicate the key product feature and the product type. One way to do this is to look out for features that differentiate your product such as design, texture, or other unique details such as embellishments, prints, structure, collar type etc. For example, Floral Print Sleeveless Bodycon Dress (product features) (product type) Check out Production Tips: Optimizing Product Name; Check out Fashion Vocabulary

Your product name should be a maximum of 54 characters (including spaces) in order to be fully displayed in the catalogue pages. Any product names that is longer than 54 characters may be cut off in the catalogue page (but fully displayed in the individual product page). Your product name should be clearly stated such that customers can visualize the product through its name. Make sure to exclude the brand for the product name, as there is a separate Brand field within the form. iii.

Brand

Start filling out the brand name of your product in the Brand field and a table of suggested brands will appear. Click on the relevant brand name from the list provided. If your brand is not listed, please contact Seller Support.

Main Colour

For this field, you can enter the supplier’s name or your own creative colour name for the product. However, make sure the colour name indicated is the relevant colour of the product in the image. If your product has multiple colours, it is recommended for you to choose the most dominant colour. For example, if your product is 15% Red and 85% Lilac, the Main Colour field recommended is Lilac.

You can also use creative colour names to make your product stand out .e.g. Moss, Chartreuse, Onyx, Sand, etc. v.

Additional Categories

You can choose to add more than 4th level categories to your product if applicable. Simply click on Add Category and select the best categories relevant for your product. Take note that if your selected additional category does not match your product, your product submission may not pass the QC check.

This field should have at least one additional category listed to optimise your product visibility to customers.

PART 2: OTHER DETAILS i.

Product Specification - Colour Family

Select the relevant colour family for your product. This helps customers locate your product when filtering by colour. Take note of the correct colour family to select, especially if your product has multiple colours.

If the product has only one dominant colour, select one colour family nearest to the colour of your product If the product has 2 dominant colours, select the first colour -> press Ctrl -> click on the 2nd colour (scroll down if required) If the product has three or more dominant colours, select the first colour -> press Ctrl -> click on the 2nd & 3rd colour (scroll down if required) -> click on (colour family) Multi ii.

Additional Product Attributes - Composition

Enter the details of each component of the material. For example, 65% cotton, 35% polyester Check out Production Tips: Indicating Material Composition

Additional Product Attributes - Gender

Select the correct gender usage for your product and ensure that your product image model corresponds to the selected gender.

If your products can be used for both Female and Male, you may select Unisex if it is a non-apparel and the main image does not have a model. vi.

Description - Short Description

Fill out a brief description of your product. When writing your product description, highlight its unique features and be creative! Some ideas for information include product cuts, material benefit, styling options, intended use of product and country of origin. Check out Production Tips: Maximising Product Description

To fill in the short description, 1. Click on the HTML icon on the left corner - this is mandatory to ensure clean text 2. Paste content copied from existing sources or directly type in a short description that describes the unique characteristics (material, design, style) 3. Add 2 line breaks
at the end of the paragraph before entering point form content 4. The format for point form content is <space> 5. Add 1 line break
at the end of each point, except the last point 6. When done, click on the HTML icon

Care Label

Fill in the care label for your product so customers are aware of the method and cost of maintaining the product to ensure its optimal shelf life.

Measurements

Fill in the full measurements of the product so customers are aware of the fit of the product before purchasing it. Take note that you should include the measurements of all available sizes for the product. However, if you usually use pit-to-pit (PTP) measurement, we recommend using a Chest or Bust indicator instead as some customers are unaware of PTP. Additionally, it is good to indicate the best fit with other size systems if you have this information.

PART 3: PRODUCT PRICING

i.

Size

Select the size of the product from the drop-down options. If you have multiple sizes for your product simply click on Add another Product Variation to add another line for the next size. Make sure that you select a size that corresponds with the measurements that you indicated previously. If a particular size of a product is not available, but you have indicated in your measurements previously, you should still include this size and indicate Quantity as 0.

Seller SKU

Type in the unique Seller SKU code of your product. Take note that the Seller SKU for each size must be unique. For example, Product : Floral Print Sleeveless Bodycon Dress Size : S, M, L Codes : FLSBODYDRESS-S (for S size) FLSBODYDRESS-M (for M size) FLSBODYDRESS-L (for L size) iii.

Quantity

Add in the available inventory of the product for each size. If you do not have the available size yet, indicate Quantity as 0. Make sure that you update your inventory regularly to avoid Out of Stock situations. Check out Managing Your Products iv.

Price

Enter the numerical retail price for the product. We highly recommend that all sizes for the product is given the same price to avoid confusion for the customer. v.

Sale Price

If you are having a sale, you can indicate the sale price in this field. Take note that you should not indicate the discount value here. For example, Regular price Less Discount Sale Price

: SGD 40 : SGD 8 : SGD 32

Again, your product’s sale price (if any) should be applied for all available sizes.

vi.

Sale Start & End Date

If you are having a sale, you can determine when and how long the sale should occur. Simply click on the calendar icon and select the dates. Your sale duration should be applied across all available sizes.

PART 4: IMAGES

To upload your images for the product, simply click on Browse -> Select your folder -> Select Image -> Open

You can upload up to 8 images of the product and we highly recommend that you have at least 5 images from different angles - front, back, side and close-ups - to enable a 360 degree view of your product. Take note that your Main Image should show a full frontal view of the product. These are the technical guidelines for your images: i. Image size should be 762px (width) x 1100px (height) ii. Image products be a maximum file size of 2MB iii. Image resolution should be at least 72ppi Make sure that your image is not stretched, over-edited or in a low resolution so that customer will have a better experience viewing your product. Check out Production Tips: Image Preparation; Image Dimensions When you have uploaded all your images, simply click Submit All and Finish.
