Crescent Park is located in the River Oaks area of North San Jose and is surrounded by high-density residential and mixed use components. Park amenities include a large informal woodland garden, a formal plaza garden, a great lawn, sports courts, children’s play area, picnic area, art pieces and interpretive signage. SWA provided extensive regional and site analysis. In addition, SWA has worked closely with the San Jose Parks and Recreation Services to develop project goals appropriate to both the site and the City’s larger vision. Due in part to the success of this collaboration, community support of the project in public meetings has been overwhelming.
