Name: Rich Shevalier Department: Science Where I attended college: Undergraduate - Rutgers Graduate SUNY Binghamton How long I have been teaching: 33 years Where I previously taught: several schools including Union Catholic High School and Columbia High School Hobbies: wildlife photography, visiting historical places, researching history What I like or look forward to at the school: teaching anatomy and physiology Fun Fact: The first relative of mine to come to America was an Indentured Servant to a Protestant Minister.

Name: Grant Whary Department: Aquinas Where I attended college: East Stroudsburg University How long I have been teaching: This is my first year, although I was a teaching assistant for emotional support students for 5 years. Where I previously taught: William Allen High School Hobbies: coaching and playing basketball, running, watching my father coach football at Easton High School What I like or look forward to at the school: I like the small school atmosphere, the sense of togetherness, and pride among the students and faculty. Fun Fact: I take the cheese off my pizza and have been doing that since I was a little kid.

Senior Aniela Verbin Managing Editor Activities: NHS, LHS, Softball, Cheerleading, THON, Pro-Life, Key Club Why I decided to join journalism: “I joined journalism my junior year as a way to enhance my writing skills and make me enjoy writing more. I decided to take it again this year to voice my own thoughts and opinions as managing editor, and lead the newspaper in the direction I want to go in.” Fun Fact: I am the youngest in the senior class and will finally turn 17 on Nov. 5!

Junior Abby Wachter News Editor Activities: NHS, LHS, Soccer, Basketball, Track, Friends, Thon Why I decided to join journalism: “I joined to make myself a better writer and learn a new style of writing.” Fun Fact: I can crack my toes like people crack their knuckles.

Senior Bob Fiedler Sports Editor Activities: LHS, FBLA, Greenhouse, Student Council, Thon, Wrestling, Football Why I decided to join journalism: “I joined because I thought it would be helpful in college since I want to do sports analytics. Therefore, I thought this would give me a taste of what it is like.” Fun Fact: I have been the tallest kid in my grade since I was four years old.
