Construction Schedule • Board approved contract award and funding in February 2014 • County and contractor executed contract in March 2014 • Construction duration is 300-330 calendar days • Mobilization, surveys and site prep underway • Inspections and acceptance in late Winter 2015 • Transitway opening in Spring 2015 • On-going coordination with Alexandria and WMATA, and other County projects in Crystal City Crystal City Potomac Yard Transitway Project

Construction Schedule • Construction duration is 300-330 calendar days • Phase 1 – Roadway and stations in Potomac Yard o Eight month duration o Mobilization, surveys, site preparation o Begin construction of stations A, B and C • Phase 2 – Finish station B in Potomac Yard o 15 day duration, following end of Phase 1 • Phase 3 – Construct stations D, E, F, G and lane markings in Crystal City o 80 day duration, some of which is concurrent with Phase 1 • Phase 4 – 18th and Bell intersection improvement o To be completed concurrently under separate construction contact • Phases 5 and 6 – Complete stations and install furnishings and signage o 24 day duration, following end of Phase 2 o Finish construction of stations A and C, including manhole structure Crystal City Potomac Yard Transitway Project

Construction Disruptions • Lane closures Crystal Drive never completely shut down Two-way traffic maintained • Day, night and weekend work Day shift Monday thru Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. No roadway work 6:30-9:30 a.m. and 3:30-6:30 p.m. Night shift, when applicable, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Weekend work, if scheduled, Saturday only from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. • Noise The contractor must abide by the Arlington County Noise ordinance • Pedestrian detours No more than one block for pedestrian detours Storefronts remain open Accessibility will be maintained
