WHAT IS A CSA?

The Penn's Corner Farm Alliance Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm Share delivers weekly boxes of farm fresh produce to neighborhoods around Pittsburgh all year round. Penn’s Corner CSA is unique in that it supports not just one farmer, but nearly 30 different farmers and producers. CSAs are a mutually beneficial commitment between farmers and their community. Members of the CSA ensure a customer base and stable income for the farmer throughout the growing season. In return, the farmer provides CSA members with a weekly share of the best local produce available year round.
