Cup Cozy Steeking Class Yarn: Finullgarn – 2 balls, 1 MC and 1 CC Needles: US2.5 (3.0 mm) DPN or 9” Circular

Cast on 60 sts. Working back and forth, knit 6 rows in stockinette st. On WS, K1 round for folding edge. Cast on 5 new sts for steek. These sts will always be purled. Join to work in the round and work 6 rounds in stockinette st. Work the chart. Knit 6 rounds stockinette. P 1 round for folding edge. Work 6 rounds in stockinette st. Bind off. Sew 2 machine seams on each side of the center steek sts. Cut in between the seams (down the center st). Pick up along the right edge of the steek for button band. Working back and forth work 6 rounds in stockinette st. On next WS row, K1 row for folding edge. Work 6 rounds in stockinette st. Pick up 27 sts on right side of steek for the buttonhole band. Working back and forth work 2 rows in stockinette st. On next row work buttonholes as follows: K4, BO3, K5, BO3, K5, BO3, K4. On next row, cast on 3 new sts over the bound sts. Work 2 more rows in stockinette st then P1 row on RS for folding edge. Work in same manner for reverse side of the button band. Fold top and bottom hems to WS and sew down. Fold and sew button band to WS and sew down covering the steek sts.
