LWML Announces “A Cup with Kay” Prizewinners One year ago the LWML introduced “A Cup with Kay.” LWML President Kay Kreklau has always enjoyed a cup of coffee while reading the Scriptures, or while in prayer. She invited everyone to pray with her, along with other brothers and sisters in Christ, while enjoying their favorite hot beverage on Saturday mornings for 9 minutes at 9 a.m. To inspire everyone to read the Lutheran Woman’s Quarterly and check out all the pages on the LWML website in detail, a challenge was issued to find all the “Cup with Kay” logos and enter a monthly drawing.
Congratulations to the two grand prizewinners! Helen Hoffman, Springfield, Illinois, and Sue Mueller, Nashville, Illinois, will have the opportunity to have “A Cup with Kay” in person at the LWML Convention in Pittsburgh, June 27-30, 2013.
