Any Junior or Senior interested in taking the ASVAB test on October 27th needs to sign up in student services by October 14th. 10/14 Students who attended the leadership conference in Springfield are asked to attend a meeting on Wednesday, October 21 at 2:50 in room 403. Please bring your ideas and thoughts from the breakout session." Team Massive come out and support the volleyball team on Thursday, It is Mattoon vs Charleston. Friday night is Senior Night at the home football game. ON Friday the first 50 Massive members dressed in the Friday theme will receive a Barbeque sandwich or hot dog from concession stand. Are you interested in attending Eastern Illinois University next fall? Sign-up outside student services to talk with an admissions counselor and complete you application on November 3rd. The $30 application fee will be waived if you sign-up outside student services before Oct 30th. This is a great opportunity to get your application completed for free. Sign-up today!!! The next teen court session will be October 21st at 6pm. The session will take place on the second floor of City Hall. Any questions see Officer Alexander. Please sign-up in the main office. A Jostens Rep will be at Mattoon HS on Thursday and Friday October 15th and 16th during lunch hours to take all senior graduation orders. Please bring a $60 deposit or check out the graduation packet for the senior JPAY payment plan for an alternative payment option. There are extra graduation packets in the office. Hail Greenwave! An informational meeting for Scholastic Bowl will be held on Wednesday, October 21st @ 3:45 in room 209. There is an extended absence BIONIC team meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45am in room 403. Attention sophomore and juniors: Any student interested in getting information about Eastern, Illinois University can meet with a representative on Friday during their lunch hour in room#403. Sign up with your English teacher or outside student services by Friday. All MHS students will be admitted free to Friday’s football game against Taylorville. Please have your student ID to get in free. Game starts at 7pm. Attention Seniors: In order to help ALL seniors to be in the yearbook, the MHS Riddle will be providing a photography service. Members of the class of 2016 will be able to take one senior photo, with a pose and background of their choice, for $10. Extra poses and backgrounds are also available for an extra cost. Students must fill out a contract, available from senior English teachers and in the main office, and sign up for a 30-minute photo appointment outside of room 216 by Oct. 22. All photos will be taken after 7th hour during the week of Oct. 26. See Mrs. Bright for more information. SkillsUSA members, don't forget to wear your polo shirt on Friday, October 16th.
