Girls basketball tryouts start Monday November 2nd from 6-7:30am 10/30 Students who signed up to take the ASVAB will be called out of class tomorrow morning at 8:30am. ALL MHS STUDENTS we would like to take a fan bus to the football playoffs at Triad on Friday 10/30/15. We must have a minimum of 30 students. Sign up in the MHS Athletic office. The cost is $5 per student paid at time of sign-up, which covers the cost of the ride and admission to the game. Deadline for sign up will be Thursday at noon. The Bus will load Friday 10/30 at 3:45 and leave promptly at 4pm. 10/29 Congratulations to the Pride of the Green wave marching Band for an outstanding performance at the western Illinois University Marching competition. The Color guard placed first, the drum majors placed first, and the drum line placed second and the ban received third place overall. Congratulation on a wonderful completion season. Students, please be sure to check your positive points in the bulletin board outside of Student Services to see if you qualify for our school-wide pizza party on Friday, November 6th. Please check the board and ask questions now rather than waiting until the day of the party! Certificates for qualifying students will be given during period 1 on Friday, Nov. 6th." We had the highest% of students qualify this year. Keep up the good work. The Mattoon Wordsmiths will meet this Wednesday from 3:40 to 4:30 in room 217. Anyone interested in creative writing is welcome. 10/28 Reminder to all BIONIC team members Pie order forms and money are due today. There will be No Green wave singers’ practice tomorrow we will resume Thursday morning. Attention students: If you are missing a lunch bag please look at lost in found in the Café. These have been in there a while. Please take them home if they belong to you.
