Knowledge and Experience Research Experience (UT Austin) KDE Project Spring 2012 Coded a script which extracted data from a series text files and output a kernel density estimation (KDE) graph. Also made a GUI for the script using the PyQt toolkit for accessibility and ease of use of other lab members. Angle of Repose of Powders Fall 2012 Helped with constructing a setup to effectively track the angle of repose of different variations of lactose. Coded a script that tracked the compression level of a powder by analyzing pixel values of a series of images. Also constructed a GUI for the script using the PyQt toolkit for ease of use of other lab members. Artificial Lung Project Fall 2012 Helped with building a rudimentary lung to simulate breathing patterns. Worked with vacuum pumps, circuits, and helped convert an ATX power supply into a lab power supply. Did work on an Arduino board and researched possible methods to control the motor using a Python/Arduino interface.
