Day 1: Distress Paint Distress Paint Marbling Technique Steps: 1. Shake Distress Paint and apply various colors to Craft Sheet. 2. Mist Paint with water from Mister. 3. Swipe tag through Paints several times until covered. 4. Mist painted tag with water to blend and marblize. 5. Dry with Heat Tool. *Note: Once Distress Paints are dry they are permanent and will no longer blend.
Colored Crackle Technique Steps: 1. Paint porous surface with medium layer of Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint. 2. Allow Crackle Paint to dry and crack completely. 3. Paint over crackled surface with colors of Distress Paint. 4. Mist paint with water to blend color if needed. 5. Dry with Heat Tool.
Altered Surface Technique Steps: 1. Paint non-porous surface with Distress Paint. 2. Dry Paint with Heat Tool and watch finish change from shiny to matte. 3. With some areas of paint still shiny, wipe surface with towel. 4. Repeat above steps with additional layers of color if desired. *Note: This technique works best on a non-porous surface, however you can also begin with a base layer of Distress Paint on porous surfaces.

Eroded Metallic Technique Steps: 1. Apply various colors of Distress Paint to tag. 2. Blend color with Ink Blending Tool and let dry. 3. Quickly apply a layer of Metallic Distress Paint over entire tag. 4. Immediately spritz and flick water droplets over wet paint. 5. Dry tag with Heat Tool watching the surface around the water. 6. Place a paper towel over the entire tag absorbing the water/wet paint. 7. Immediately peel towel off to reveal surface. 8. Ink tag with Distress Ink using an Ink Blending Tool.

Stamping Resist Technique Steps: 1. Apply Distress Paint on to stamp by swiping across stamp. 2. Immediately stamp on to porous surface by lightly pressing down. 3. Clean paint off stamp immediately while paint is wet. 4. Let paint dry on tag or dry with Heat Tool. 5. Ink over stamped image with Distress Ink using Ink Blending Tool or Distress Stain. (Paint will resist either water-based dye ink) 6. Lightly mist paper towel with water and wipe over stamped image to reveal true paint color if desired.
Industrial Technique Steps: 1. Apply Metal Foil Tape to tag. (*option: you can use Foil Cardstock instead) 2. Emboss a texture using an embossing folder. 3. Paint over embossed surface with Black Soot Distress Paint using Ink Blending Tool to work paint into the recessed area. 4. While paint is still wet, wipe away excess with paper towel. 5.
