Term Time: 0600 – 0930 Mon – Fri, 1445 – 1800 Mon – Thurs / 1500 – 1700 Friday (flexible, dependent on the needs of the school) Non Term Time: 0800 – 1500 (30 minute lunch break, flexible, dependent on the needs of the school) We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, talented and committed Site Manager who can make an outstanding contribution to the maintenance, security and site management of the school. Hatchell Wood is a large primary school in Bessacarr, Doncaster with around 400 children on roll. We strive to promote an inclusive child centred approach to learning, where our core values of aspire, create, respect, explore and engage are at the centre of everything we do. We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated person to join our school as Site Manager. Our premises are quite large so we need someone who is happy being busy! Duties include: To work a split shift on a daily basis – school is open 6.00am – 6pm Ability to undertake occasional evening overtime for meeting / events / concerts Security of the site. Unlocking / locking at beginning and end of day Checking all site services are in good working order Some cleaning duties Some outside work involved. e.g. snow clearance, refuse bin emptying, etc Undertaking work which involves health and safety concerns. e.g. water testing, fire alarm testing PAT testing of equipment (training will be given) General maintenance In return we can offer: A friendly, caring school which is central to the community A happy and welcoming school where children, parents, staff and visitors feel valued for who they are
