Each school year, BCES develops a School Improvement Plan. The plan is developed based on the learning needs of your children here at BCES. Instructional Strategies are implemented to help your children improve in these areas! School Improvement Goals BCES students will increase Math RIT scores by 15 points. BCES students will increase Language RIT scores by 15 points.
Strategies Number Talks -10-15 minutes daily -Meaningful computational fluency -Goes beyond memorizing math facts -Builds & Uses Relationships between addition, subtraction, multiplication, & division
Mentor Sentences -10-15 minutes daily -Uses mentor texts (good writing from published authors -Learn from amazing, well-written sentences -Becomes a scavenger hunt or game -Improves Grammar & Writing
