Jesus Changes Everything — Session 4— EXTRA! Ideas for Adults Date: December 24, 2017 Jesus Saves The Point: Jesus was born to bring us into a relationship with God.
Get Into the Study Use this story to introduce Question 1. Christmas is a time of celebration. We can celebrate with long-standing traditions, or try something new. This year, many retailers, including Target, are selling upside-down Christmas trees. While inverted trees have reportedly th been around since the 12 century, these trees have recently experienced an increase in popularity. Unadorned, images of these inverted trees on shopping sites, may look like a joke. Once decorated, though, this unique take on a Christmas tradition is loved by many. These upside-down trees are being sold on stands, and also displayed hanging from ceilings. Ask Question 1: What’s something you’d love to add to your celebration of Christmas? There are lots of ways to celebrate Christmas. Ultimately, though, it is a time to reflect on “The Point” of this session: Jesus was born to bring us into relationship with God. Nikki Wilbanks is a stay-at-home mom, writer, Bible study leader, and commercial real estate appraiser/investor.
