2017-18 Division I Women’s LACROSSE Recruiting Calendar Contact Periods: May only evaluate HS, prep school, and 2-year college events and regularly schedule activities. Evaluations: Evaluations of prospects in lacrosse activities are only permitted during three weekends (Friday 5 pm Sundays) prior to Thanksgiving. For 2016, these dates are November 4-6, 11-13, 18-20. These are still contact days, too. Evaluations days during June and July are evaluation days only, contact is not permissible. Quiet Period: Only in-person, on-campus contact is permissible. Contacts and evaluations are NOT permissible. Dead Period: In person, on– or off– campus contacts and evaluations, official and unofficial visits are prohibited. During the May 25-27 dead period, evaluations may occur at one event within a 100-mile radius of the NCAA Championship site. **CU is limited to seven recruiting opportunities (contacts and evaluations combined) per prospect. During the prospect’s senior year in high school, not more than three of the seven opportunities may be contacts. All contacts and evaluations that occur during the academic year count against the permissible number of recruiting opportunities. Evaluations that take place during the summer are considered outside the academic year and do not count against the number of recruiting opportunities. Contacts that occur outside of the academic year do count against the contact limits.**
