NEW ORLEANS – Scholar Team of the Year and AllAcademic Team honors for the 201516 NCAA Division II Track & Field season were announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Though indoor men’s national champion Tiffin came up short in its bid to sweep the outdoor crown, the Dragons did manage to take both the indoor and outdoor Scholar Team of the Year award. The women’s Scholar Team of the Year awards went to this year’s national champions: Lincoln (Mo.) claimed the indoor award while Pittsburg State took the outdoor honor. PDF Release As the highestplacing teams with at least a 3.00 cumulative team grade point average at this season’s indoor and/or outdoor NCAA Division II Championships, these teams stood out among 117 women’s teams and 66 men’s programs that combined academic and athletic achievement to earn AllAcademic Team honors this season. The full list of AllAcademic teams can be found below.
