THE HEALING AT THE POOL OF BETHESDA | ROAD TRIP | AUG. 6, 2017 JOHN 5:1-15
3 TYPES OF WATER IN ANCIENT TIMES •
Dead Water: Water that is contaminated and leads to death (i.e. a swamp, a bog, The Dead Sea).

Normal Water: Regular, drinkable water.
•
Living Water: Moving water, moving because god is moving it.. The belief that an ancient Greek god might be within the ‘embodied’ water. There’s something manifest in this special waters.
THE PROPHET ISAIAH PROPHESIED ABOUT JESUS & LIVING WATER •
Isaiah 35:5-7
ACTION POINTS •
“See? You have been made well” - Grow to know Him
•
“Stop sinning” - The call to holiness & to love Him
•
“See? Something worse can happen to you” - The Gospel moment drawing us to eternal life.
