Make (48). They measure 3 ½” unfinished. QUARTER SQUARE TRIANGLES Pair an assorted dark 4-1/4” square with an assorted light 4-1/4” square. Draw a line from corner to corner on the lighter square. With right sides together, sew 1/4” from each side of the drawn line. Cut apart on the line.
Press the (2) units open. Make (24) dark/light units. Repeat with another assorted dark 4-1/4” square and an assorted medium 4-1/4”square. Make (24) dark/medium units.
Place a light/dark HST on a medium/dark HST and repeat the sewing process as shown to create (8) QST units.

Arrange the units as shown and sew together.
BORDERS Inner Border 8085-38 Chocolate Climbing Vines (2” x wof strips) Measure the length (from top to bottom) through the center of the quilt. This is your measurement for the side inner borders. Piece (2) and add to the quilt. Press seams toward the borders. Measure the width (side to side) through the center for the measurement of the top and bottom borders. Add to the quilt. Press seams toward the borders.
Make (12) blocks. They measure 9 ½’ unfinished. PINWHEEL BLOCKS & SETTING TRIANGLES Pair an assorted dark 5-3/8” triangle with an assorted medium 5-3/8” triangle. Sew together. Make (34) Arrange (4) units as shown:
Outer Border 8068-32 Caramel Starflower (4-1/2” x wof strips) Add the outer border in the same manner as the inner border. Layer quilt top, batting and backing 8085-33 Caramel Climbing Vines. Quilt and bind with 2 ½” strips 8083-99 Black Tossed Tulips.
Make (6) Pinwheel Blocks. They measure 9 ½” unfinished. The remaining HST units are for the setting triangles. Sew an assorted 8” QST to each side of an HST shown.
Make (10). CORNERS Sew an assorted dark and assorted medium 8” QST as shown. Make (4)
QUILT ASSEMBLY Arrange the blocks in rows as shown and sew together. Press row seams in opposite directions. Add corner units. Trim the quilt sides evenly.
