$ Dollar for a Difference $ Huron Valley Unites to Support a Student’s Battle with Cancer Thursday, May 19th at Milford High School - HVS Middle School Meet Athletics can serve as a platform for the greater good. We recently had a Huron Valley student diagnosed with Leukemia. This student has begun chemotherapy and will miss the remainder of the school year. In attempt to support one of our own, we would like to raise funds to help him and his family through this challenging time.
1 Lap….. $1….. 1 Goal….. Make a Difference Here is How YOU Can Make a Difference Athletes:
At 4:15 (after the 6th grade meet and first 7th/8th grade event), all Muir, Oak Valley, White Lake, and High School athletes will run a ceremonial lap around the track. We are asking all athletes to bring $1 to the meet (feel free to bring more). At the conclusion of the lap, athletes will place their dollar in a collection bin. This showing of HVS pride will serve as a visual that will hopefully inspire the audience to help support this cause. o Wear Your School Colors: Lane 1 – High School Girls Lane 2 – White Lake Girls Lane 3 – Oak Valley Girls Lane 4 – Muir Girls Lane 5 – White Lake Boys Lane 6 – Oak Valley Boys Lane 7 – Muir Boys Lane 8 – High School Boys
