RUSH WISCONSIN TEAM DESCRIPTION 2004 (U14) BOYS RUSH (Born January 1, 2004 – December 31, 2004) TEAM FOCUS The goal is to have 16 - 18 players on the roster. The game format is 11 vs. 11 on a full size field. This is one of the top teams in the State and will be tested against some of the best competition in the Midwest. The goal at these age groups is to accelerate development and help players’ transition into their high school program. The focus at this age group continues to be developing individual ability while teaching basic team organization roles and responsibilities. Players are challenged to think through situations that the game presents and make appropriate decisions. Players start to specialize into positional responsibilities. This is one of the elite teams at the club and the commitment level is extremely high. Players will need to invest in physical development every bit as much as technical, tactical and mental sophistication and improvement.
