Spectators are guests; the game can continue without them Officials, coaches, opponents and spectators should be regarded as having honest intentions In sports, as in life, treat others as you wish to be treated Use of foul language, drugs, alcohol or tobacco use is inappropriate at any OYAA function

Uniforms = Players receive jersey; shorts and socks; Must have own shinguard! EQUIPMENT = coach provides own equipment Coach’s Gear = each coach is required to wear the blue OYAA coach’s shirt PICTURE DAY = Information Packet in uniform box
Age Group Recommendations - U11/12 Have FUN!
= One player, One ball activities Touches, Touches, JUGGLE = Avoid standing lines; if needed 1-3 ratio (1 work, 3 resting) = No fitness without a ball; No fitness as punishment; Be DYNAMIC = Play Small sides games -- 4v4, 5v5, Numbers up/down = Engage the players; Game scenarios (up a goal, down a goal, timed) = Snacks & Drinks HEALTHY Balance ! ! = Score Goals - Cones, Nutmegs, Sticks, Bags; flags, MULTIPLE Goals = They shouldn’t want to leave; Excited to return to next practice
Recommendations = = = =
4-6 practices before season; 2x per week during season 80-90 minutes 15-20 minutes before the game; Should Prepare them to play Vary Player Combinations/Rotations; 1-3-4-3 or 1-4-4-2 formation YES Goalies, Encourage 1v1; Possession; SHORT Free kicks/corners

Games = begin Saturday, August 29, 2015 Fields = Wyandot Run ES and Liberty Park (110x70) Game Day = Primarily Sat.; Occasional Sundays/weeknights Schedules = Coaches notified via email when available. Cancellations = per cancellation guidelines Rescheduling = per rescheduling guidelines Picture Day = September 19, 2015
Practices 1. Olentangy Elementary Schools: no reservations. 2. Olentangy MS: space limited; official school sports have 1st Priority;
NO practices at Olentangy High Schools
3. Liberty Park: area south of main parking lot, no reservations.
NO practices on game fields
4. Public Parks: no reservations; Highbanks, Alum Creek, Hyatts 5. City of Powell ( residents must reserve through city of Powell ) 6. Private Land: ask permission; request C.O.I. from OYAA 7. CE FC: reserved practice space at North Orange Park Orange MS (south area behind school) Several churches in the community * HELP US - avoid practicing in same area, especially the goal areas * DO NOT move goals; leave the anchors in - Safety First!
