Sow the seed thinly direct into finely raked, moist, weed-free soil, 6mm (¼") deep, in May or June (Germination 7-14 days). Thin out the seedlings to achieve final spacing of 15cm (6") to obtain bushy plants. In early autumn pinch out the main growing point and transplant to flowering positions 30cm (12") apart, for flowering the following spring.
