During the past year, they saw the construction of four new churches, one new school and a new building for a children’s shelter. There were 55 mission teams visiting the DR in the past year including a record number of Nebraska teams. Ellen noted 10 medical teams served more than 2,000 people during their visits. Bob reported the Mission Endowment created in the DR stands at $4.1 million and continues to grow toward its goal of $9 million.
