16 June, 2015 Dear Parents/Carers Class 8 Teaching Arrangements w/b 29 June 2015 I am writing to inform you that during the week beginning Monday 29 June, Miss Hunt will be accompanying the Year 6 children on their residential school camp as an additional group leader. As you are aware, we have to ensure that our staff:pupil ratios are in line with the recommendations from North Somerset and the Dean Field Study Centre. Miss Hunt volunteered to attend school camp in order to facilitate this higher-than-usual ratio. In order to minimise disruption to the children in Miss Hunt’s class, we have booked for Mrs Ruth Purle to teach Class 8 for the whole week. As you are aware, Mrs Purle is a very experienced teacher who works regularly at Golden Valley to cover the absence of Classteachers, or attendance on courses etc. Miss Anderson, Mrs Leavett and Mrs Milnes will be working in Year 5 as usual.
