Krieger Schechter Day School: First Grade Learning Suite Yod
Vav
This project for Krieger Schechter Day School, a Hebrew school in Baltimore, has two components: 1. Redesign the first grade corridor to be inspirational and efficient. 2. Reconfigure the first grade suite to encourage collaborative learning.

1. The corridor design solution opens the dark, low existing corridor and creates an environment in which Hebrew alef-beit characters change scale to form places in the corridor. Places to organize personal items, places to learn about recycling, places for display, and places to have small informal learning moments.
