We are experienced quilters dedicated to offering personal service. Rachel’s Quilt Patch is “at home” in the 1860 railroad freight station in the historic Wharf District in downtown Staunton. In its heyday this place held boxes and boxes of railroad freight, moving it out and into warehouses across the street. In its new incarnation, quilters gather for classes and clubs, and yards of fabric are enthusiastically bought and sold. You are invited to come and share our place and our space, shop for all your quilting needs, ask for help, sit with Sweet Blue, our resident Siamese, and show us your latest projects—in process or finished. MicroSealQ™ is now available at Rachel's Quilt Patch Staunton, VA MicroSeal has been used in other industries for 30 years and is now coming to the quilting and handmade industries as MicroSealQ.
MicroSealQ is s a protectant that sinks into the fiber and fills in the gaps that we tear away as we process the fiber into our desired textile form. MicroSealQ imitates the natural protection of the original fiber. MSQ protects and strengthens the fabric at the fiber level.
DIRECTIONS
Protect your family heirlooms from the elements. As you come into Staunton, coming from the North, there will be a giant watering can on your left at the Railroad underpass (or giant flower pots at the underpass, if you are coming from the South) Follow Route 252 and Business Rt 11 South and continue to South Augusta Street. Turn left onto South Augusta Street. Augusta Street ends at Staunton Station and turns into Middlebrook Ave. as you turn right. Take your immediate left onto the cobblestone parking lot at the Staunton Station sign. 2 Rachel's Quilt Patch is housed in the long red brick building next to the Depot Grill.

L IB’ S PL ACE 23147 Prince Edward Hwy Rice, VA 23966 434-392-5427 Located in a log cabin on Route 460 across from Jenkins Blue and Gray service station (look for the bright red roof and flags on the fence) Regular Business Hours M-W 10-5, TH 10-6, F-S 10-3, Closed Sunday From Appomattox and Lynchburg: go 5 miles east of Farmville on Route 460. Store is located on the left side of the road. From Richmond: go west on Rt 360, take Farmville exit Rt 307, turn right onto Rt 460 and go 1 mile. Store is located on the right. From Petersburg: take Rt 460 towards Crewe, and take the Farmville exit at Burkeville continue on Rt 460 for about 8 miles. Store is located on the right 1 mile past Rt 307. (Sometimes for your GPS it is better to just put in Lib’s Place Rice, VA) Lib’s Place is your place in the country for fabrics, yarn, needlework, scrapbooking, beading, crafts and candy making. We have over 2,000 bolts of fine quality fabric including Henry Glass, Red Rooster, Hoffman, Northcott, Marcus, Timeless Treasures, Blank, and more. Enjoy classes and workshops in quilting, oil painting, needlework, sewing, and more. We also have group meetings for quilters, machine embroiderers and hand needle crafters. Lib’s Place also offers Jim Shore, Willow Tree, collectables and gift items.

2015 Tour de Quilt Rules of the Road THANK YOU for joining us for Tour de Quilt 2015. It’s been a year of reorganizing and finding ways to make Tour fun for you and for the shops that participate. We hope you enjoy our 16th Annual Tour de Quilt! Each shop is designing or featuring a table runner pattern that uses a half yard (from a coordinating line of fabric) from each shop. Each shop's half yard and pattern will be available to you for $10 (tour week only). Each shop will have special sales each day. It's up to the shop if the sale item or items change and it is up to the shop to determine the discount. Special group prizes.... if you travel in a group of 4 or more and you wear something that matches (shirts, pins, lanyards, etc.) You will each receive a special prize at each shop (prize to be determined by the shop). If you COMPLETED a project from last year's fabrics and bring it in to show and tell you receive 20% off your purchase that day!!!
