20 November 2014 Receiving Dear Parents/ Caregivers my 10 The last week has been full of personal milestones for me. Last Thursday Years a#ernoon I was presented with my 10 Service years of service with Townsville Catholic from Educa'on. The last ten years have been Mary-Ellen so much fun and I can’t wait for the next ten! Last weekend I was fortunate Pa,nson enough to catch up with old school friends at my 20 year high school reunion. I was reminded there how our school days really are the best days of our lives. I am very blessed to be able to come to a place everyday where our days are so much fun and to be a part of our students’ best days of their lives. Yesterday we held our second full transi'on day. The day was an opportunity for us to also welcome Miss Sharn Alloway to our school and for Year 2/3/4 doing some cool Google Sharn to meet her 2015 Year 2/3 class. stuff with Mr Feaver and Robie Our 2015 Year 4/5/6 class had a bit of rocket fun with Mrs Carroll and Mr Feaver. Be sure to ask them whose rocket went the longest distance. Today we welcome Kim Whi7a back to St Francis. Kim is no stranger to us having worked on a number of drama performances with us over the last few years. Our students will be performing a modern adapta'on of Sleeping Beauty Miss Alloway with her 2015 class as well as some songs learnt with Carmel McNeill last week at our End of Year Concert tomorrow evening. The concert starts at 6:30pm and our children are not required to wear any special clothing, just something they are comfortable in. Today is Petreah Carroll’s last day with us for 2014. Petreah has done a fantas'c job with our staff and students this year as our Literacy and Numeracy Coach and we Rocket fun! thank her for that. We look forward to welcoming Petreah back in 2015. I look forward to catching up with many of you at our End of Year Concert tomorrow evening. ☺
