Powder 401 - Steep Shots A freeride program designed for advanced skiers who want to ramp up their steep skills, and especially their ability to trampoline from one snow mushroom to the next in total control. If you prefer quality over quantity, this is the course for you.
Pay As You Play ith the Pay As You Play program your initial cost W covers accommodation, meals and services. Beyond that, you only pay for what you choose to ski — as much or as little as you want, and as conditions allow for. Trips come with no guaranteed footage, and you will be charged to ski at a rate of $150/1,000 metres (3,280 vertical feet).
Powder 505 - The Steeps
Please note: Generally, there will be several opportunities to return to the lodge throughout the day when the helicopter needs fuel, but we cannot offer skiers the option to fly out after every run; otherwise we could not accommodate those skiers who wish to continue skiing throughout the day.
This is designed to take you into the most challenging terrain available on any given day. As always, our goal is to keep you safe, but we will be looking for the lines that will give you the best chance to develop your skills along with expert coaching. The weeks are limited to 9 skiers/ riders (which will be split into 2 groups), with 3 guides and a Bell 407 helicopter. Additional skiing above the guarantee is $125/1,000 metres (3,280 vertical feet).
Powder 101 - The Intro
Powder 707 - The Masters
The Powder 101 group will be one group of 10 skiers. These trips are designed to introduce strong intermediate skiers to deep snow skiing and move them past the initial hurdles of skiing in wilderness terrain. This program is not for beginner skiers! You should be a newcomer to deep snow skiing and at least a strong intermediate skier. Powder 101 is also for those skiers that would like to ski with 2 guides. Powder 101 - Girl’s School
owder 707 is offered on selected trips at different P areas throughout the season, with a maximum of 10 guests and 2 guides. The main goal of the PM program is to maximize the enjoyment of skiing focusing on the quality rather than quantity of skiing. Ski Fusion This trip combines Heli-Skiing (4 days) and Ski Touring (3 days). The group will be limited to 10 guests and 2 guides. Your guides will assess the weather and ski conditions daily to decide which days will be touring and which days will be Heli-Skiing. Guaranteed vertical is 17,500 metres ( 57,000 feet).
With all due respect to our friends with the XY chromosome, it is probably not a bad idea to forego the male presence while learning to rip powder in the Heli-Ski environment. It’s been our experience that when it comes to supporting and encouraging one another, a tight group of female adventurers is living, skiing proof that sisterhood is powerful. And that ideal environment for learning is exactly what you’ll find when you sign up for this women-only version of Powder 101.
Small Group Program Small groups means quick lifts and opportunities to ski challenging lines. These trips are based on a capacity of 30 skiers (3 groups of 5 skiers, 2 helicopters) in the Adamants, 10 skiers (2 groups of 5 skiers, 1 helicopter) in the Monashees and 15 skiers (3 groups of 5 skiers, 1 helicopter) in Kootenay. Additional skiing above the guarantee is $125/1,000 metres (3,280 feet) and refunds are $130/1,000 metres (3,280 feet).
Avi Skills 201 - Backcountry Skills This course will focus on building a decision-making framework based on the latest in snow and terrain assessment. Graduates will earn their CAA Avalanche Skills Level One, a prerequisite for further professionalcalibre training. Powder 203 - Big Trees With this program, conducted amidst the world’s finest old-growth-forest skiing terrain, you’ll get hands-on instruction of a set of skills from line selection to turning technique that will have you slaying trees like Paul Bunyan.

Please Note Once a CMH space is booked and money is credited to that booking, the money becomes fully non-refundable. When a guest cancels that booking all the money becomes fully non-refundable. Those funds are deemed to be cancellation fees at the time of the cancellation. Those cancellation fees can be converted into a credit solely for skiing or hiking on another trip in the calendar year. That means that the money can be applied to a less expensive trip and used towards the price of the trip only.
Any unused credit can be used towards another space in the calendar year or it will be taken as cancellation fees. The credit can also be moved to a more expensive trip in the calendar year, and any difference in price will be paid by the guest. The credit cannot be used for extra metres, shop, bar, massage or future deposits, nor can it be returned as cash. The credit can only be used for the person with the booking, but that person can assign the credit, in writing, to another skier who is making a new booking with CMH. The credit cannot be assigned to any existing booking.
