Frequently Asked Questions •Do you allow fireworks? Yes we do allow firework displays throughout the year providing our recommended supplier is used as a full health and safety survey has been completed by them. •Do you allow confetti? Yes we do allow confetti in designated areas •Do you allow us to provide our own wine / champagne? Yes we do allow this, but corkage charges will apply – please contact your co-ordinator ordinator for more details. •Do you provide any décor for our wedding? As a general rule, we do not provide any decorations for your wedding other than white table linen, although we are able to provide p you with contact details of our recommended suppliers – please contact your co-ordinator for more details. •Do you have any accommodation at Doncaster Racecourse? Unfortunately we do not have any accommodation available at Doncaster Racecourse, although we do work closely with a number of o hotels in the area should you require any information regarding accommodation. •Can we provide our own DJ? We do allow you to provide your own DJ, subject to provision of the necessary paperwork (PAT test certificate & public liability liabil insurance certificate) •At what time does the bar close? Doncaster Racecourse bar will close at 11.30pm, but a bar extension to 12.30am is available and this is chargeable at £75.00. Guests will be allowed a 30 minute ‘drink-up’ time after the bar has closed.
Terms and Conditions Please find below an overview of our terms and conditions. A full document is available on request from Doncaster Racecourse. How to book non Doncaster Racecourse can provisionally hold your chosen date for a maximum of 14 days. After making the provisional booking you will receive a hire agreement which should be signed and returned with a nonrefundable deposit of £500.00 to secure your date. A second deposit of £1500.00 will be due no later than 6 months prior to your Wedding date. A estimation of your final numbers will be required. After the appointment you No later than 6 weeks prior to your Wedding an appointment will be arranged by our Wedding Coordinator to confirm the details of your day. An will be issued with your invoice which will be due for payment no later than 28 days prior to your Wedding date. Final numbers will be required no later than two weeks prior to your Wedding date. At this time you will be issued your final invoice which is payable no later than 7 days before your Wedding date. Any additions after this date will become payable immediately by either cash or credit card. Cheques will not be accepted any later than one week before bef your Wedding date. Cancellation by You Should you need to cancel your event for any reason you must firstly telephone our office to inform us. You will then be asked ask to put your cancellation in writing. Cancellation by Us Doncaster Racecourse reserve the right to cancel your event at any time should there be in our reasonable opinion damage to either e our reputation or property. Additionally, in signing your hire agreement you the hirer agrees and accept that Doncaster Racecourse may cancel the function in the event that the “race-days” days” allocated by the M‘British Horseracing Boards’ Fixtures Committee should coincide with the previously arranged event. Prices charged are correct at the time of printing but are subject to change. You will be charged the price in effect on the date of your function (not the date when the function was booked). A written estimation/quotation can be produced six months in advance if requested.
