Native American Connections owns and operates 15 different service sites that provide wellness and recovery services and affordable housing to more than 10,000 individuals and families annually. Native American Connections’ mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families through culturally appropriate behavioral healthcare, affordable housing, and community development. NAC serves all people who seek out its services. Native American Connections Permanent Supportive Housing Program blends Native American traditions with best practices for serving vulnerable populations including the chronically homeless. Located within easy access to public transportation, residents at Encanto Pointe and Stepping Stone Place enjoy the comfort and security of newly constructed LEED certified homes. The single point of entry design allows for a daily close connection with support staff. On-site supportive services include case management, financial literacy, job-readiness, NA/AA support groups, healthy cooking classes and access to on-site food pantries.
