Applesauce and hints of fresh herbs, thyme, watercress, basil and sage. Red apple, peach, orange and lemon with a touch of petrol. The wine has a just off dry bit of sweetness, balanced with good acidity. Nectarine, apricot, peach and baked apple notes. Medium weight finishing with ripe fruit like a biting in to an apricot or warm yellow peach. Very refreshing and zingy. This should work well with a smoked trout salad with apples, or any spicy food, Indian, Mexican or Thai would be a good pairing.
