FIELDS: Field #1is located straight ahead as you enter the Superior Dome and pass by the ticket desk. Also, it is the field on the West end of the Superior Dome. Field #2 is located to the right of Field #1 as you enter through the main tunnel at the Superior Dome. Also, it is the field on the East end of the Superior Dome.
RULES: NCAA rules apply. The 8 Run rule is in affect after five innings. International Tie Breaker is in effect if tied after 7th inning. (Runner on 2nd with no outs and no count) ** Make sure all substitutions go through the Home Plate Umpire. **
WORTH BALLS: Each team must bring one game ball per contest. The WORTH NC12L is the official ball.
HOME TEAM & DUGOUTS: Home team will be determined by coin flip prior to game. Teams may occupy either dugout.
PRE-GAME: Additional warm-up areas are available. There will be NO infield practice prior to the game on the playing field. Ground balls may be taken behind shortstop and second base.
TRAINER: A Certified Athletic Trainer is available during the tournament. To contact the trainer in advance or during the tournament, his contract information is as follows: Nate Larson 906-281-2248 [email protected]
AWARDS: CHAMPIONSHIP PLAQUE – There will be a plaque awarded to the team with the best winning percentage at the tournament. The winning team will be added to the list of previous years champions. Tournament MVP Plaque – This plaque will be awarded to the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. This will be decided by submissions from each coach for the All-Tournament Team, as well as the official scorer’s at each field. All-Tournament Team Certificates – 10 All-Tournament Team Certificates will be awarded to the top 10 players in the tournament, not necessarily by position. These will be determined from the All-Tournament Team Selection Forms, as well as by votes from the official scorer’s at each field. The Tournament MVP (above) will be one of the 10 players receiving a certificate. Awards will be sent out within a couple of weeks of the tournament. Coaches, if you don’t submit an All-Tournament Team Selection Form, your players will be ineligible for any of the awards.
