Members in Attendance: Caroline Arnedt, Jennifer Taylor, David Sturmer, Jodi Kniesteadt , Melissa Boobyer, Rich Deleruyelle, Paula Condron, Dave Rosevelt, Shane Fuson, Lisa Pitts, Charlie Gagne, Jill Dromazos, Brooks McFarland, Eric Durliat, Jeff Kirkey, Ken Bryson, Mike Guinta, Lou Adams, Aaron Hendricks, Kevin Pnacek Taylor called the meeting called to order at 6:37 pm.

Roll Call Report of Treasurer (Condron)  Current financial statements dispursed to members present. Related discussion postponed to next DLL BOD meeting.

Call old for business 

Pitts: Requested update re: Gagne’s call for DLL improvement project ideas. Gagne reports receiving approximately 30 suggestions for long term project committee to consider.

Report of Nomination Committee (Arnedt, Pitts)  Given the duties of the baseball commissioner position, DLL would be better served if there were co-commissioners or a head and an assistant. Bryson and Guinta had discussed this possibility and their respective roles if elected recently.

 Assignment of duties is likely best organized by those in such roles given their individual strengths, age of children in DLL, experience in DLL, etc. ****Motion by Pitts: Creation of an assistant baseball commissioner DLL BOD position in addition to the baseball commissioner position. 2nd by Rosevelt. 13/13 votes (2013-2014 DLL BOD).

Other Business:

Taylor: Received an email that player’s dad confined to a wheelchair could not attend the majority of son’s DLL baseball games due to lack of sidewalk. Taylor to forward to Gagne for long term project committee. Discussion included concerns re: liability, school owned property, and possible golf cart transportation (if golf cart could be kept in shed and could also be used for raking fields). Closest sewer line is near the Mill Creek bathrooms. All such issues to be discussed at next meeting.

Sturmer: Dates set for next 4 board meetings: 11/6, 11/20, 12/4, 12/18 7-8:30 pm at Dexter Library. o Agenda items for next meeting:  Concession Stand  Updating By-Laws  Approval of budget  Report from finance and long term planning committee Kniesteadt: Putting together draft of DLL calendar with approximate dates/deadlines. Board member to email her by 11/1/2014 with dates to enter for coming year. Taylor: Placed a request to reserve DHS gym for player evaluations on 3/7 & 3/8/2015. Not confirmed to date. Sturmer: Opening Day scheduled for 4/18/2015. Deleruyelle: Tentative Field Day: 3/28/2015
