2016-2017 LEADERSHIP
“It is with tremendous joy that l accept the position as Captain of the 2016-2017 University of Texas Orange Squad. I consider it a great privilege to give back to a program and a team that has given so much to me. Beyond the average student-athlete experience, this program has taught me to be passionate about all things Texas and has provided me the opportunity to develop as a friend, teammate, and leader. As captain, my goal is to create a culture of enthusiasm, respect, and hard work. I seek to dedicate my time to the betterment of the team and see to it that each member is groomed to be the best ambassador to the university and an avid supporter of UT Athletics. I consider it an honor to represent my team and continue the tradition of excellence and the integrity associated with the University of Texas. Hook’Em!”

“I am so incredibly honored to serve as Captain of the 2016-2017 University of Texas Pom Squad. I am humbled by this opportunity to lead a group of such talented and incredible girls. As captain, I will be dedicated to selflessly serving this team as well as continuing to build the integrity of the program. I plan to work tirelessly in order to develop confident, well rounded, and strong young women who are leaders wherever they go. This program is constantly giving once in a lifetime opportunities and I am privileged to lead a group of girls throughout this incredible adventure. Whether cheering at DKR stadium or simply walking to class, our team will always lead by example and be the biggest fans of our great University. I am so thankful for this opportunity and I am excited for yet another wonderful year on the Texas Pom Squad. Hook Em!”
“I am honored to have been chosen for Captain of the 2016-2017 White Squad! It is such a privilege being a part of this amazing program at such a prestigious school like The University of Texas. This program focuses on dedicating itself to being the best ambassadors for Texas, and as Captain that is a tradition I ensure to uphold. I have learned so many invaluable lessons from this program that I hope I can help my teammates learn as well. It is such a blessing to be on White Squad and I am so excited to see what this next year has in store for us. Hook ‘Em!”
