2016 Annual Wrapped in Courage Campaign Memo Ontario Association of Interval and Transition Houses is excited to launch the 4th Annual Wrapped In Courage Campaign to raise awareness about Violence Against Women in Ontario. The Wrapped In Courage Campaign gives shelters and organizations across Ontario, the opportunity to engage their communities about violence against women. During Woman Abuse Prevention Month in November, we are calling on all Ontarians to show their support for women and their children escaping abuse. Since 2013, 40,000 people have come together to stand in solidarity with women and children who escape violent situations. We invite all VAW shelters to participate in this campaign. We are offering the original purple scarf at a cost of $5.00/ each and the fashion scarf at a cost of $6.00/each. Participating organizations typically sell the original scarf at $10.00 to $15.00/each and the infinity scarf at $15.00 to $20.00/each. Each organization can place orders directly with the supplier, Mianru. Identify how many original scarves and how many fashion scarves you wish to purchase and the customer service department will assist you. The fashion scarves have a product code of ZKQ1006.

We are asking all participating organizations to keep their orders to approximately 100 infinity scarves as we only have approximately 5,000. We will send an update closer to the end of September on how many more of these are available. We would like to ensure everybody has some within their communities.
Sponsorship & Social Media Sponsorship for the 4th Annual Wrapped In Courage Campaign will be announced shortly. We will be working over the summer to solicit sponsorship and develop social media marketing strategies for the Campaign. You will receive updates over the next few months as plans unfold.
