Coach Montez M. Robinson Coach Montez Robinson is in his first year as head coach of the Alcorn State University Braves. In his first year, Robinson’s Braves posted a 135 record in the Southwestern Atlantic Conference and finished 2nd in the SWAC. Under Robinson’s tutelage, the Braves improved their win total from 6 wins in 2014-15 to 15 wins in 2015-16, and posted two 5 game winning streaks for the first time since 2002. Robinson is also responsible for academic improvement, raising the team GPA from 1.9 at the time of his arrival to 2.75 in the fall of 2015 with 5 student-athletes making the Dean’s List.
Learn proper fundamentals Campers grouped according to age and ability 1 on 1, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, hotshot, and knockout competitions Each camper receives a camp t-shirt and basketball

What to Expect at Camp:
Individual Skill Instruction with Alcorn State student-athletes and men’s basketball coaching staff A great opportunity to meet other young players in the area and bond over the game of basketball Instruction in team concepts such as screening and cutting, team offense, and team defense Daily homework and tips for improving your skill level at home after camp has concluded A great experience in which campers will improve their basketball skills, their teamwork, and make new friends!!
