2017-18 Back to School Information First Day of School: Thursday, Aug. 3 Find school supply lists, calendars, and more at www.MooresvilleSchools.org VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS: All students entering kindergarten, 6th, and 12th grade are reminded that vaccination boosters are needed. Our vaccination deadline is September 1. Students may be excluded from school after that if they don't have proper documentation. The Franciscan St. Francis Vaccination Clinic will be at MHS on Sat., July 29, 9am to noon to assist with vaccinations – register at 317-528-6374 to ensure we have enough vaccine. PARENT COMMUNICATIONS: Families who’ve updated their telephone numbers, email or other contact information are strongly encouraged to log into their child’s Skyward account to update contact information. Schools are in the process of sending out Back to School information and we want to be sure all families get the updates they need. TRANSPORTATION QUESTIONS: If you have questions regarding a bus route or bus arrival times, please contact our Transportation Department at 317-831-9220. SCHOOL SUPPLIES: Elementary and middle school lists are available at www.MooresvilleSchools.org. Middle and high school supplies will vary by classes taken. Mooresville Schools’ families in need of assistance should plan to attend our School Supply Distribution on Saturday, July 29, 9am – noon at Mooresville High School. Students are encouraged to attend so they can pick out their backpack – if your student cannot attend, please bring proof of enrollment such as a report card or letter from school. Those who would like to donate are encouraged to bring items or monetary donations to the Mooresville Schools Education Center in the weeks prior to the event. Items needed most include boxes of tissues, folders with prongs, pencils, glue sticks, colored pencils, markers, scissors, and backpacks. NEW ENROLLMENTS: Please call your child’s school to enroll (all offices are open beginning July 24) so we may get classes assigned and have everything ready for the first day of school. Please bring a birth certificate, shot records, and proof of residency to enroll a student.
