Head Coach Chris Villarrial CAMP DIRECTOR

Chris Villarrial is set to begin his eighth season as head coach of the Saint Francis football program. Villarrial earned back-to-back NEC Coach of the Year awards after leading SFU to its first ever NEC Regular Season Title and the program’s first FCS Playoffs berth in 2016. He was also named the ECAC Coach of the Year and was a finalist for STATS FCS National Coach of the Year for the second straight season. Villarrial spent 12 years in the NFL with the Chicago Bears (1995-2004) and the Buffalo Bills (2004-06). The Hershey, Pa. native was chosen in the fifth round of the 1995 NFL Draft by the Bears and blossomed in the Windy City. Villarrial was a two-time All-Pro and a four-times Pro Bowler, and he helped pave the way for four different 1,000 yard rushers. In 2004 Villarrial signed with the Buffalo Bills and was part of a line that gave up the fewest sacks in franchise history in 2006. He finished his career with 148 career starts.

A message from Coach V As a former NFL player, I understand the importance of camps and instruction at the high school level. These camps allow high school players the opportunity to expand their skill sets and become more versatile, intelligent players. At our camp, players will have the chance to compete against some of the best high school football players in the region, work with a Division I coaching staff, improve their overall game and, of course, have fun. My staff and I will be at the full disposal of our campers, helping them realize their full potential as football players. We hope that you can join us this summer for this exciting opportunity. See you in June!
