CAMP STAFF
TWU Head Coach Jeff Huebner
Coach Huebner took the reins of TWU Volleyball in March 2017, coming to the Pioneers from Middle Tennessee State where he was the Interim Head Women’s Volleyball Coach after being hired as an assistant coach in January 2016. Before his time at Middle Tennessee, Huebner started the women’s volleyball program in 2011 at the College of Coastal Georgia. He ended his five-year tenure with a 121-54 record, including a 65-10 record the last two years. Under Huebner, the Mariners won Southern States Athletic Conference regular and postseason championships, and bids to the NAIA National Tournament in 2014 and 2015.

In 2014, Huebner was named an AVCA Top 30 Coaches Under 30 recipient, the AVCA Region Coach of the Year and the Southern States Athletic Conference Coach of the Year. At Coastal Georgia, Huebner coached four All-Americans, 27 All-Conference team members, and 22 consecutive weeks in the National Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. Prior to Coastal Georgia, Huebner was a successful high school and club volleyball coach in his home state of Illinois. While at Illini Elite Volleyball Club, he coached his teams to six medal finishes at USAV Junior Olympics and AAU National Championships. As a coach at Tri-Valley High School, his teams finished in the top 10 four times in five years.
TWU Assistant Coach Laura Farney
Coach Farney joined TWU in April after spending four years as an assistant coach at the University of Montevallo, helping the Falcons to two 20-win seasons. Before Montevallo, Farney spent two seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. A four-year member of the volleyball program at Arkansas Tech, Farney became the fourth player in program history to record 1,000 career kills and 1,000 career digs. During her tenure, the Golden Suns compiled a 121-27 overall record, claimed three conference tournament championships, and earned a bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament. Farney received several honors during her collegiate career, including a selection as a nominee for the 2012 NCAA Woman of the Year and an All-American honorable mention selection.
