More information will follow soon! You are welcome to come and watch! * WEDNESDAY 13th JULY – Sports afternoon 1:30pm until 3:15pm * WEDNESDAY 20th JULY – RESERVED Sports Afternoon! * THURSDAY 21st JULY – Leavers Assembly 2pm starting in school first, then walking down to the Holy Trinity Church * TUESDAY 26th JULY – Last day of this academic year!
Reminder that we have an INSET day on Monday 6th June (the first day back after half term).
CLUBS: You should have all received texts telling you which clubs your children have places on for next half term. Any problems, please pop in and see us. Please note: Morning clubs will start the FIRST week back, after school clubs will start the SECOND week back. Thank you. Mrs Gostick is going to start a Tuesday lunchtime club with the Y6 children on Archaeology! They will be using our school grounds to dig and explore and will research the locality too to find out more about where we are! Sounds very exciting! If you have any gardening style gloves you could donate, please bring them in. Thank you!

CATHEDRAL TRIP: We had a great day on our trip to Derby, walking through Darley Park and to the beautiful Cathedral building. We had such lovely weather (unlike the following day!) which made our walk all the more enjoyable. The children had a great experience and hope they shared their day with you when they got home! There are lots of photos on the website! GREAT BRITISH THEMED DAY: Our Great British day was an action packed and busy one! All the children looked great dressed in the colours of the Union Jack flag. Lunchtime was a very royal occasion and the food provided by Mrs Smart was superb! The hall looked lovely too – thank you to Mrs Carr. We spent the day working hard on researching Great Britain, the Queen and the rest of the Royal family. Displays should be completed in the hall soon for you to see our work! ‘Matlock Bath Munchies’ opened from 2:30pm and it was lovely to see so many of you supporting this. We raised £43.75 which will be put towards our next charity day fundraising in June. A very big thank you to our waiters and waitresses for all they did – well done guys! Photos on the website! WILLOW CLASS DANCE SHOW: What a super performance Willow Class put on for us! Very well done to you all. It was great to see everyone joining in with smiles on their faces – children and grown ups!
BUNTING CUP: Well done to the Key Stage 2 children who took part in the Bunting Cup yesterday. Everyone played very well and there was great team spirit; we are all very proud of you! Thank you to Mrs Sheldon for organising it all, and thank you to those who went to support! ASH CLASS RESIDENTIAL TRIP: It’s not long to go until their nights away! Last week you should have received an envelope with a note in about the remaining balance, a consent form and a kit list. If you have not returned the consent form, please do so on the first day back. Any problems or questions about final payments or the kit list, please pop in and speak to us! Thank you. I hope you all have a lovely break over the bank holiday weekend and enjoy the weather that’s meant to be here! We are back for the final term of the year on Tuesday 7th June.
