Replacing Mag Reader & Cable 1. Make sure your 2TouchPOS system is shut down. Posiflex sign will be a light green color. 2. Disconnect power, hard drive power and sata cables.

3. Remove Base from monitor by pressing a plastic clip, located on the backside of your terminal. Hold the clip, place other hand on the terminals front side of your Posiflex touch screen and lift screen up. Place monitor on a flat clean surface.

4. Remove mag reader from monitor. Unscrew, the two screws holding the mag reader to monitor.

5. Unplug mag reader’s cable from monitor. BE CAREFUL, there is a cable connecting the hard drive to mag reader. Unplug mag reader cable from mag reader.

6. Unscrew the four monitor screws, located in all four corners.

7. Lift back proportion of monitor. BE CAREFUL, there are wires attached. Lift slowly.

8. Find mag reader cable and slide it through the mag reader port.

9. Pull mag reader cable out from hard drive clip.

10. Attach new mag reader cable to hard drive clip by attaching the cables five pin end into the mag reader clip. When inserting the five pin end, attach it to the bottom proportion of the mag reader’s clip. Re-insert mag reader cable through port in monitor.

11. Close monitor up. Line up all four screw holes and you will hear a snapping noise when monitor is in place. Screw in all four monitor screws. (Hand Tight Only).

Reattach Mag Reader 1. Take mag reader cable and attach it to the mag reader.

2. Re-attach mag reader by screwing in 2 screws. (Hand Tight Only).

3. Re-Attach the hard drive power and sata cables.

4. Re-attach monitor to base. First, insert bottom proportion of monitor into base.

5. Re-attach power cable.
