3-D Attic Window Ornament An ornament that doubles as a stocking! Who wouldn't like a little extra candy? Slip a treat into either side of this double sided ornament with the fun pockets created with the Attic Window technique!

Finished size: 3 ¼" x 3 ¼"

Cutting 2 Attic Window triangles one 4" square one 4" square about 4 - 5" one 4" square

Suggested Fabric

For the window, fabric A, choose a novelty print, or create your own unique design with an applique or embroidery. Placement of the motif is shown in the pattern.

• Cut the B and C Fabric squares in half diagonally.



Attic Window Squares

• Assemble the Attic Window squares as shown in the booklet accompanying the Attic Window tool.

• Baste the window in place an ⅛" from the edge. • Make two.

Attic Window Blocks

• Layer the first pieced block (right side up), hang ribbon and the second pieced block (right side down). • Sew around leaving a small opening.

A B C Window Panes

• Cut two window pane triangles from the A Fabric using the 2 ¼" size on the Attic Window Tool. • Align the print in the window of the tool as shown. • Trim along the edge of your tool

• Move the fabric to align to the 2 ¼" lines. • Trim along the angled edge.

• Snip the corners

• Turn the block inside out. You may add stuffing for a more 3 dimensional look.
