Handicap format?
What does this mean? FUN! This will be our third year since we started the Handicap format and it’s been a lot of fun and unpredictable each year. Year 1: the Cat 1 & 2 caught everyone and took the win. Last year: the Masters B’s held off everyone! Who will it be this year? The more the merrier and more fun it is. Each group will be handicapped (given a head start) from the faster groups that will start afterwards. The Cat Pro 1 & 2 riders will be the last group. Each race group races towards the finish and whomever reaches the finish first Wins! You can ride and mix in with any group as the groups should bunch together before the finish. How will it finish? That’s up to you! Work together in your group, breakaway, go for a big solo move, sneak away from the lead group before the finish, take the Bunch Sprint! It’s all good. Most of all…race hard, have fun, and enjoy the BBQ! Groups: A Flight) Women Cat 3-4 & Masters 55+ All cats,
B Flight) Master Men 45+ Cat 3-4-5 & Master Men 35+ Cat 4-5 C Flight) Men Cat 4-5 & Master Men 35+ Cat 3 D Flight) Men Cat 3 & Master Men 35+ Cat 1-2 & Women Cat 1-2, E Flight) Men Pro-1-2 . *Groups may be modified depending on the turnout at the race.
